Dr.ABDUL KALAM TRUST FOR EDUCATIONAL & GREENERY is a non-governmental organization registered under the Indian Trusts Act and inspired by the public vision of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

The trust focuses on educational support, tree plantation, medical and awareness camps, and emergency response through a wide grassroots network across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Meet the Founder

Dr. Jayaraj Rajendran

Founder & President

Dr. Jayaraj Rajendran is the Founder & President of Dr. Abdul Kalam Trust for Educational & Greenery. A native of Chengalpattu, he began his career in the corporate sector, where he worked for nearly 10 years.

Deeply inspired by the vision and values of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, he decided to dedicate his life to social service. In October 2015, he established the trust with the mission of serving society through education, environmental initiatives, and community welfare.

Since then, he has been actively leading various social initiatives, including supporting students with educational needs, planting and maintaining trees, organizing awareness programs, and helping underprivileged communities. In addition, he is successfully running an old age home, providing care, support, and dignity to elderly individuals.

Under his leadership, the trust has grown into a strong network of volunteers and has created significant impact across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

His dedication to social work has been recognized with an Honorary Doctorate in Social Work, along with numerous other awards and accolades.

He continues to work towards building a better, greener, and more educated society.
